Llambrich Ball Bearing Chuck

Since we're talking about old Jacobs have you heard of the 18? Not 18N.

I will check on that 18 . Here is a line up of the N chucks . Haven't seen the light of day in 25 years or so , but they were in oil ! 11 14 16 18

You got me stumped on that 18 . I have 36s and 34s but not an 18 in the house . But I'm not done rummaging either just yet ! :big grin:

I was just curious if you or anyone else had heard of that model.

I haven't , and its a 3/4 cap also . Hm .

You didn't stump the chump !:big grin:

So , as it turns out ……...I found an 18 down in the woodshop junk . That's a big chuck as well . I'll post a pic as soon as I wake up a bit !

Look on the side and you shoulod see it says super chuck. My assumption is it is ball bearing but now I'm think maybe not.

You must need a big chuck like 18N , the biggest size for my hobby use would have been 16N (1/32"-5/8"). so many of them come up for sale on eBay, haven't seen many 18N though.

I don't. 16n would be perfect. I happen to have bought two at an auction and gave my friend the Asian made one. I ended up buying all the rebuild parts. They came in a lot so thought why not. Now I have all the parts and no one is interested in buying them.
