My new ACRA lathe is home, now the job of getting it settled in, and cleaned up. It has been very tiring couple of days moving everything around, and cleaning up under things on wheels that never moved.

Thank you all, it was an adventure, I am extremely excited, also very tired, and sore. The riggers were pretty reasonable too, my friend owns the transfer/forwarder company. This was an after work delivery, he brought a fork lift, pallet jack, and I had the skates, 4 more of my racing buddies came to help also. $200.00 on the books, 2 cases of beer, steaks, and some snacks for after getting it moved in. Mark what gauge wire do I need for this connection, it came with 40 amp fuses rolling in the cabinet?

Depends on the wire temperature rating, I would use a minimum of #8 THHN which is rated at 55A, code is usually 125% of the VFD input current. On a three phase VFD running in derated single phase mode I use the same calculation as the VFD output is derated by ~1.7.
