I have always said that all people should work in a grocery store for a year and especially Christmas and Easter. I would think the entitlement would drop a little bit. I did 25 years of retail and wholesale and the last 25 years in production where there is a barrier between me and the phone/public.

Everyone should also work for a time at a job cleaning public bathrooms. It will make you be a bit neater/more considerate in later life.
