[Newbie] T-slot Bolts For Kurt 675

Bob, measure your T-slots and see if they will take a 5/8" T-nut and will pass a 1/2" bolt through the slot. If so, TeCo makes a vise mounting kit with hardened steel hardware that is exactly what you need. Penn Tool Co. sells it for under $10.00:

I notice this thread started way back in May. I hope Bob got his vise set up by now.

The 3" long studs I find to be about 1/2" too long to use on my Index mill. They stick up about 1/2" above the nut when tighten down on my Kurt vise. So I made a set out of 1/2" all thread about 2-1/2" long. Now they are flush with the top of the nuts when tighten.
