Hello,
i salvaged this motor and was thinking about using it for a slow speed grinder(1725rpm). I think it is an induction motor, no brushes, has centrifugal switch and capacitor. Could someone tell me how to wire this up to a power cord from the diagram in as simple terms as possible for 1725. Thanks in advance for any help.

Did you grab the motor start switch out of that washing machine?
The start switch starts and holds the contacts to keep the motor running, it fit right on top of the terminals you show on the back of the motor.
That and the harness that ran to the switch would be the way I would start

Maybe this: Probably would work
