What no pilot hole? You got to see this.

I stand corrected Brino.
I feel better now.

I’ve watched a number of Russian (?) videos of machinist. Some very clever and skilled machinists for sure.
Just wish I understood the language. But still good stuff and usually if it’s an obvious question...somewhere in the comments, someone usually explains pertinent stuff

Not the operator's first lathe job, for sure. Love the efficiency.

He's such a pro that he didn't even have to check for his threads to be in spec or check fitment! :D

This one is awsome. Watch how he drills the center hole. Then He does a radius by hand, then after the ten min mark, he does tapered threads by feeding the cross slide by hand.

Yeah - I LOVED the center drill "adapter" he uses (at around 1:10 and 7:25).

WTH! Me too, I never seen that one before!

Man I was I could understand what he was saying!

I like the fact that his machine has a power feed system on the compound. And I like his senter drill attachment. I did a taper thread by hand once. It is nerve wrecking, but luckily it TURNED out ok......get it? But this guy is flawless.
