[How-To] Wrench storage

Here's some of mine. My main tool box has the English wrenches organized. You rarely use all of your vertical space, so like wrenches are stacked on top of each other. I used a sheet of 1/4" luan, 1/4"-20 and 10-24 all-thread and T-nuts for the vertical studs to keep them separated. Box end, ratcheting combo and stubby combos are stacked with multiple sizes.

And then there's this drawer. These are "yet to be organized (statement of the obvious)". Metrics, flare nut, English combos up to 1 1/4", etc. thrown in this drawer. I didn't show it, but have a few more 3/8" - 3/4" sets at my Atlas horizontal mill, lathe tool box and Tormach mill. Also have dedicated wrenches at the Oliver die filer and DiAcro brake.

Mike's comment made even funnier as I misread the title as "Wench storage".

:beer bottles:

That many 9/16 wrenches... Kinetic sculpture?

I've always wanted to get a sticker for my bike printed that says "I stop for w(r)enches". I have a whole box of spare wrenches and sockets (mostly 10 and 13mm :)) that I've picked up from the side of the road..

Ok, I'm back at work and can supply photos! This system means there's almost no effort to get or return the wrenches, which is critical in our shared toolbox shop.

Obviously, not 100% effective, as all the 3/4" and 15/16" wrenches are AWOL :-(

Argh. Found some in the overflow drawer.
