Great! I was looking at these 2 days ago. We will also need some wipes or whatever they are called that bolt to each of the 4 'arms'. Mine have seen better days, and they are a wear item.

We should start a thread that provides part number etc for the various bits that we replace out. Will make it easier for the next person.

Your machine looks a lot cleaner than mine!

Thanks Ray. Yes, my wipers are pretty worn. I'm thinking when i replace them I'll most likely have to make them..most likely out of felt.

Got the quick change cleaned up and overspray removed. Just need to put the handles back on.

Im great with photos..so good i look semi fit in selfies..lol. I just cleaned it up as good as i could then waxed it.

Spent a little more than i wanted but picked up this 4 jaw chuck that matches my 3 jaw. Happy with its condition! It's very nice.

Strike 2. 20mm is definitely too small. This one fits the opening nicely but doesn't seal. I'll keep looking but if one can't be found i may have to go the next size up and just tap it for a screw on sight.

Not sure if it'll work. I had to gently put it in a vise and tighten the silver ring to get it to slide in with a press fit. It's definitely not as tight as the original but i think I'll see if it leaks....

Used my snap ring pliers and tightened the silver part on the sight glass and it seemed like it may hold. Added oil, no leaks so far. One shot is feeding oil to the ways! Thanks Ray!.

Thanks, i appreciate that! Nope, not cutting yet. Im itching to play with this lathe! I have a few things to do before im ready.
My new belts were too small. I bought A64 belts. I guess i need A65 or A66.
Somewhere in my mess of a shop is a gallon of spindle oil.....somewhere....I think...lol....i need it to fill the headstock.
I want to get it off the skid and leveled.
I'd like to get at least the scale for the dro mounted in the bed before putting the backsplash on.
Lol, each day is getting closer though!
