After you've removed the screw in the picture before this the brake shoes will lift right out... The cam fingers are holding the shoes apart here.
"Mostly" drive out the roll pin in the brake shaft with a punch and hammer, This is holding the brake operating cam to the shaft.

Remove this screw to start uninstalling the brake shoes.

The cam fingers are not attached to the brake shoes. They are what you see directly below the center of the spring here.
