Grab the roll pin with some vise grips to remove it. Use the punch to hold the brake shaft still while you fight this thing.
You may have to twist back and forth the get this sucker out. I also had to file burs off of mine to put it back.
Pull the brake shaft out with a pair of vise grips.
Remove the set screw holding the brake shaft in place.

Should be able to drive the roll pin out this much...gotta grab it with vise grips next.
Rotate the brake shaft so you can see the end of the roll pin. I just used the punch through the end as shown. Keep the punch handy.
