POTD- PROJECT OF THE DAY: What Did You Make In Your Shop Today?

Seems like the coyote bought his rockets and anvils online from ACME. Gotta paint ACME on the anvil buddy.
Wile E Coyote...

As I recall, you have a lathe named Roxanne. Gonna name the anvil?

I like that one Bear but too long to fit nicely. I will go with ACME.

I will grind what is there and fix some metal letters with JB-Weld.

Got to have some fun…

EDIT: Metal letters ordered. I should be able to tack-weld those.

Today i made a bit of an improvement in my tool storage in the big garage. In this garage i mainly do mechanical repairs and welding and my tools are strong about everywhere. If i put them on my work bench they take up the entire bench, so i found me a corner post in the middle of the work space. Started by mounting two metal strips, welding couple supports and mounting my small bench grinder. Then i moved to mounting my black box that contains my allen, torx and triple square bits. I use pop rivets and reinforced the hinges, the bottom will rest on the grinder and when i want to use the grander i simply close the black box. Above the black box i place the orange box that contains my impact sockets they are heavy so i also used bolts thru the metal strip into concrete. Above it i made a small pedestal and mount the blue box and above it i bolted on couple of chip boards on which i hung up couple more tools. Everything is with in reach and everything can by easily closed up when painting not to get overspray on it.
