This hits home. I am having the exhaust manifold gaskets and up pipes replaced on my F350 7.3L. The rough estimate is 2.5 boat bucks by my mechanic. No tools for a while.

I had the same thing last year on the 6.0 250 . Including the SS turbo back exhaust system was $2200 .

You should go with the bellowed up pipes on the 7.3l and you don't have to worry about the gaskets failing again
