I wanted to see how small I could go with a dial.
Tried a piece 1.250 diameter with 50 lines.
Looks like I can go even smaller.
Who wants a dial?

Straight off the mill with no touch up just 7 minutes run time.

Had to break out the sewing machines. Made new straps with Velcro fasteners to reuse my 30+ year old bike cover that I had for the Shadow. It fits the new CTX700.

Made my first large fixture plate today. Still working ou the kinks in my programming but seems to be working well.

what on earth is that for? If i may ask.

It is to make these little blocks to hold 5/8 rods. It part of camera rigging equipment.

Thank you. I am just trying to learn what I can from each project. I have limited times. Yet I can’t help myself. I’m having to much fun.

Made a height gauge to center my lathe tools.

Wish I didn’t have to go to work. All I want to do is make chips on the lathe all day. Ha! I think there’s a song in there somewhere.

Finished cleaning up my atlas 618.took it apart.put in bath tub.brush painted with oil based enamel.no wear to speak of..was going to keep it but have a lot 4 Dalton I plan on keeping for my small lathe.its all apart going into bath..
