I've been told polarity settings come into play, but purple and pink are common. I think some Thermal Arc welders were a pink color....very suspect!

My welders don't multiply on their own, they take months of saving and planning to breed. Like panda bears, everything has to be just right.

I do give my Millermatic 251 a kiss on the faceplate before I turn off the shop lights at night in hopes that I will wake up to a Millermatic 350P. That hasn't happened yet either.
