Very cool project. Is it hobbing along now?

Sadly not yet. I still have the 1 spindle to remake, and life has kept me out of the shop lately.

I'm always amazed at the peace I find when I get back to the shop. I find myself working till the wee hours of the morning with a smile and no clue what time it is. Here's hoping you make it back to the shop at ludicrous speed Barf.

Very terrific and satisfying project! If you ever want to add a differential for making prime number gears, I have done that and can help.
