I am so sad to hear this news. Mike was so generous with his knowledge and was a terrific mentor to me in my early days here.
His sage contributions here will be sorely missed though his memory will live on.

I’m proud to have been inspired by such an amazing man. His intelligent and articulate good nature is what I found the most endearing. I’m very grateful to him for the kind words and infinite wisdom he shared with all.

Was an amazing individual, always contributed so much and a great mentor for others. Always had kind words. He mentioned he was battling cancer, so sad to see that he passed away. I wish I knew him years ago when I lived in HI.
