That will work. I think that the way the terminals are set up it would be better to connect 6 to 2-3 and 5 to 4 or 1. The OEM jumpers are set up for that arrangement.

Does your mill have a switch to reverse motor direction? I may be wrong here but if it only has an on/off switch you are wired correctly for "right" rotation of the motor.

When I got my mill, and didn't have a plug yet, I stripped the wires off and wired it directly to the line, you know, like a real machinist would do as the electrician shakes his head.Anyone have a 20 220v plug?
