I just read this thread to see if I screwed up by buying the $90 POS welding table from HF.
And I think I did okay.
I don’t think I would use the table for fixturing, but I did need something I could easily fold up and stow away, or carry outdoors.
The project right now is running beads on practice coupons. Most actual welding will be on things that won’t go on a table no matter how big.
It’s all in the requirements. I don’t think the crappy welding table will make me any worse as a welder, but that’s a low bar.
