Another pair of support brackets for a Cub Cadet Cat 0 install.
These are the brackets that the lower lift arms are pinned to.
They bolt, one on each side, to the differential housing.

Sweet ! :encourage:

Very nice. That's the kind of project I often get requested to do around here. The most challenging project I ever had was making this:

And all I had to go on was this:
IMG_1403.JPG

It was a bearing bracket that goes on one end of a John Deere cultipacker. I had the bearing but could only see the bracket on the other end of the cultipacker. It couldn't be removed without a near total dismantling. Couldn't even get close enough with a tape to measure it. Got it right on the first try. Miracles still happen.

Here they are side-by-side:

I think that is the definition of "worn down to a nub". Good job. You must be, at least a little, clairvoyant.

Nothing very exciting but.....

Our stove has always been a little sloping to the center. It gets worse with a heavy skillet. I cut a piece of aluminum and used a couple silicone pads to cushion it. Tomorrow morning will be the true test.

I am in the process of reconditioning my Logan 2557V 12" x 36" bed lathe. It had a worn worm gear, worm bushings and worm wheel gear. The bushing for gear the drives the crossfeed screw was also bad.

I got the parts from Logan Actuator this week. Basically I have disassembled the apron, crossfeed and compound slides. Cleaned everything inspected, lubricated and reassembled up to the point of the crossfeed drive gear bushing.

That bushing should arrive today. Everything is ready to go once final bushing arrives.

Here are pics of the crossfeed back on along with the tailstock.
