see if you can get a nylon screw... it will grab tight, and not mar any finished end. This is only for registration, so it will tighten up enough and do the job. Looks great... I am tempted to make one, but also feel that the guy that designed this deserves some $$$... so not sure. He lowered the price for hobbiests by making an aluminum small version.

Today, i finally got the rear computer unit for the Astra, this car has stood open for months now, there are no manual locks changed the control unit and the locks come back to life, changing it isn't hard, it's located in the trunk. But i didn't stop there, the steering wheel has a rip in its leather. So i sew a new cover over it, sewing did took me couple of hours and tucking it under the commands was a bit tricky. With that task done this vehicle is good to go, it will need couple of tires soon.

I made some new aluminum cutters for my Lopre fly cutter and went for it. I cut .060 off to get close to 9.5:1 c/r, that's up from 8.9:1 with .020 off the deck. Only 95 HP to start with, I'm doing everything I can to get this 250-lb motor up to 150 Hp. Heavy porting, individual throttle bodies, and a custom ground cam ought to do it. Suzuki 8v 1.6 liter for my Samurai, aka a polished turd. Yeah, there are good engine swaps out there, but all come at a heavy weight penalty. This thing's gonna have a throttle response like a motorcycle, but gearing should make it bearable.
